A Powerful Tool for Designing and Deploying Course Materials

Our platform allows instructors to publish and digitally distribute their original course materials such as lecture notes, edit OER textbooks such as those from organizations like OpenStax and LibreTexts, and combine materials from various sources.

Important Aspects of the Editor and corresponding eReader.

  • Accessibility - WCAG 2.1 AA Compliant: Our platform is fully Level AA compliant, all resources we offer are compliant, the platform helps make new/custom material compliant
  • Rich Text Editor: Full-featured with a familiar feel (MS Word or Google Docs).
  • Scope and Sequence Edits: Drag and drop to reorder, add/remove chapters or sections.
  • Copy Editing: Edit text, add/edit images, embed videos and simulations, and more.
  • Automatic Numbering: Numbering for figures, tables, equations, etc. and any references to them are automatically maintained, allowing instructors to add or remove such elements without concern of the need to update those manually.
  • Equation Editor: Use the graphical interface to avoid syntax or work in either LaTeX or MathML. Regardless of input mode, we automatically create and store an accessibility-compliant version of all equations for anyone using a screen-reader.
  • Collaborative Editing and Version Control: Save History and formal in-system versioning allow multiple faculty to work together
  • Custom Content: Import/Upload your existing material or create new material within the editor. The import conversion turns non-accessibility compliant documents, like PDFs, into compliant HTML. For math equations in non-compliant forms like LaTeX, MathML with Assistivity forms of those are created
  • eReader Highlighting: Students can annotate and highlight; instructors can message to the class within the eReader via this platform.
  • Hard-copies and Printability: Every student should have a copy of their book they can keep. With our platform, students can order a formal hard-copy. They can also use built in functionality in the eReader to print the entire book, or any part of it, or save to a PDF.
